Prague Public Transit Company is offering you now a new possibility of purchesing your tickets - it is SMS Ticket! You do not have to have any cash with you, you do not have to look for any ticket machine or tobacco shop. You can manage to get your ticket for Prague Public Transportation only with your mobile phone! How to do it? Here are instructions:

In 2 minutes you get your SMS Ticket in your mobile phone :)
Imortant is that you buy SMS Ticket before you eneter the underdgound, bus or tram. SMS Ticket is valid for 90 minutes in total and costs 20 CZK incl. all taxes. This ticket is also the transfer one. With SMS Ticket it is also no problem to travel with your dog because you can buy one ticket also for it.
And what to do if you delete the SMS confirming your ticket by a chance? No problem at all because you can get a duplicate. When this happen, send again a text message in a shape DPTA to 900 06 06 and in 2 minutes again you get a text message with your duplicate ticket which will cost you 6 CZK incl. all taxes.
However, please note that you get your SMS Tickets in Czech language ;)
The Prague underground is the fastest means of transportation around the city and serves over one million passengers a day. It involves from three lines, each of them represented by its own color on the maps and letters: line A (green), line B (yellow) and line C (red). There are 51 stations in total on all the lines. The metro service operates between 5 am and midnight every day, with around 2-3 minutes between trains during rush hours.
