Q: How do I find a hotel or apartment?

A: If you wish to search only by the dates or standard of your travel, please use the quick search on our home page. Otherwise use our section Accommodation.

 
Q: How can I make a reservation if I know in which hotel I want to stay?
 
A: If you already know the name of your hotel, click on Accommodation section on our home page and choose the name of the hotel from the complete list of hotels and apartments listed there.
 
 
Q: How can I make reservation if I have never been in Prague and do not know how to choose from the hotel and apartments database you have?
 
A: Please send us your request by e-mail to info@going-prague.com with following details:
  • dates
  • number of persons
  • type of accommodation you require (hotel or apartment)
  • your budget or required standard of accommodation (number of stars from 2* to 5*)
According to that we will search for the most suitable accommodation for you and send you our offer within few hours.
 
 
Q: How do I know that my reservation is confirmed ?
 
A: After completing and sending us your order form, you will get an automatic receipt e-mail containing your order number. We will process your reservation and will contact you as soon as possible – usually within few hours.
 
 
Q: I have booked accommodation, or transfer service but I did not receive a confirmation by email. What do I have to do?
 
A: The most common reason for not getting a confirmation email is typing your email address incorrectly. Therefore, please double check your email address before finalizing your reservation. 
In some cases, our e-mails can also end up in the "spam folder", depending on your e-mail account security level, so please check it as well.

Accommodation – Pricing

 
Q: Do you charge any fees for your services?
 
A: No. Our service is completely free.
 
 
Q: Do you offer any special offers?
 
A: Yes, though we offer the best possible rates, there are available other discounts. Please refer to the Special Offers section on our website to see a complete list of all discounted hotels. We also offers discount for group bookings and long term stays.
 
 
Q: Do you offer special discounts (for seniors, airlines employees, etc.)?
 
A: We provide you with the best available rates for the dates of your stay. The discounts are already included and therefore it is not possible to have any other discount on the confirmed price.
 
 
Q: Are the rates on your web site per person or per room?
 
A: The price is always per room, only if you need extra beds, the extra bed charge will be added.
 
 
Q: What does it mean 2+1 etc. in the description of the rooms and apartments?
 
A: Please see the example bellow to understand the explanation better. Number 2 (in this case) express number of persons/beds and number 1 (in this case) express a number of possible extra persons/extra beds, if required. Extra bed will be charged - price for extra bed can be found in the price list under Extra Service.
 
Example:

This is a general information and have the same meaning also in other cases e. g.: 2+2,4+3 etc.
 
 
Q: How can I recognize which service do the hotel or apartment offer?
 
A: All available services are expressed by blue icons which involve description. You can see these icons in every hotel´s presentation on our web site.

Q: How can I recognize which kind of service is included in price and which do I have to pay for?
 
A: Most of the hotels and pensions have their services included in price. If the service displays among the mentioned blue icons, but is not included in price, you will find the cost of it in our price list under the section Extra Service.
 
 
Q: Does the price include VAT and city tax?
 
A: All prices given for accommodation and transfers include VAT and city tax.
 
 
Q: In which currency do I pay?
 
A: Payments in cash in CZK are required by most apartment owners and our drivers. In some hotels/pensions, you will be also allowed to pay in cash in EUR however please always double check the exchange rate offered by the hotel as the payment in CZK might be more cost effective.
 
 
Q: Is there a reception desk in every hotel and apartment?
A: You can always check this information among the blue services icons at every hotel or apartment presentation. If the reception is opened for non-stop the following icon will display  15.gif
Otherwise there is not a reception at all or has limitated opening hours (usually specified in the hotel´s/apartment´s description). In this case we recommend you to use our transfer service, especially if you arrive late at night as it simplifies the check-in. If you arrive by car or do not want to take our transfer for any reason, it will be our pleasure to arrange your meeting time with the apartment manager.
 
 
Q: Are towels and bed clothes provided in the apartments?
 
A: Sure, all the apartments provide bed clothes, linens and towels. Also, there is a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette in every apartment.
 
 
 

Credit Card and Payment

  
Q: Do I have to pay in advance?
 
A: No, we use your Credit Card just to guarantee your booking, as most of all Prague hotels accept only reservations guarantee by credit card.
 
 
Q: Can I book your service, if I don't own Credit Card (CC) or if I don't wish to provide my CC number ?
 
A: Yes, we would be happy to assist you even without CC, however, your reservation can be accepted only as a preliminary one for some time until you send us any other guarantee of your reservation.
Just thick this box in your order form if this is your case. 

 
Q: How can I guarantee my reservation without CC then?
 
A: When we receive an order form you we will contact you back and will send you bank account details, where deposit should be sent. Your booking will be confirmed right after receiving requested deposit.
 
 
Q: How high is the deposit?
 
A: For accommodation service – usually amount of the first night. Exception are groups, long term bookings or special booking dates (e. g. New Year´s Eve or Easter).
For transfer service – full payment
However, we will inform you about exact requested amount in advance.
 
 
Q: Can I pay in advance with my Credit Card if I want to (present, business trip etc.)?
 
A: Sure, if you like to pre-pay your accommodation or transfer service for any reason in advance, inform us about it in time that we could charge your CC and finalize your reservation to your best satisfaction.
However, please note, that there will be 5% surcharge form the total amount charged to your card. This surcharge is charged by our bank.
 
 
Q: Is it secure to send my credit card details?
 
A: Absolutely - your Credit Card information is sent to us through a secure server. We use the latest, most secure technology available, which encrypts all your personal and credit card details. The encryption method used is the industry standard "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL) technology, this way the communication between you and our server will be encoded. That means that no one else can read these information but our agency. You will see our SSL certificate in the orders form, which guarantee to encrypts all your personal data
 
 

Change Of My Booking Or Cancellation

 
Q: How can I change my accommodation booking?
 
A: Simply - just e-mail us on info@going-prague.com or call us (in urgent cases) to +420 775 568 899 We will amend your request and will get back to you as soon as possible.
 
 
Q: How can I change my transfer booking ?
 
A: If there are any considerable changes in your flight or train schedule, please call our office or emergency number (+420 775 568 889) and we will re-schedule your transfer service without any cancellation fee. This change is free of charge if you call us the change 2 hrs. prior to your departure.
 
 
Q: How do I cancel my accommodation or transfer booking?
 
A: If you decide to cancel your reservation, please let us know by e-mail to info@going-prague.com or phone (+420 775 568 899) in urgent cases. When your reservation is cancelled, you will get a cancellation confirmation from us.
 
 
Q: Is the cancellation for free?
 
Accommodation: Unless otherwise stated in the cancellation terms, you may cancel your accommodation booking for free up to 72 hours prior to the confirmed arrival date. Any cancellations received later will be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of the first night's stay. Failure to show for your reservation will also result in a no-show fee equivalent to the cost of the first night's stay.
 
Transfer: can be cancelled withou paying any fee up to 2 hours before the confirmed arrival time. If you cancel or change your reservation later or do not show up at all the full cost of the confirmed price is required as a cancellation fee.
 

Privacy Policy


Q: What will you do with my personal data?
 
 
A: We ask you to submit e. g. a contact telephone number. This is sometimes necessary when we may need to verify your reservation, especially for last minute orders.
 
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Provided personal data will be kept only for a business use of Going Prague
